Time Out says
Little Bao, helmed by Hong Kong’s visionary Chinese chef May Chow, is back in town. Having closed its Staunton Street location back in 2019, Little Bao makes its return with a brand new shop on Shin Hing Street in Soho.
The new shop, much like its predecessor, is an intimate but stylish space with a countertop table that surrounds the open kitchen with high top chairs. The menu remains a playful, cross-cultural experience with Chinese and international elements and flavours in the dishes. Highlights include the likes of skirt steak beef tataki, mixed seafood ceviche, and crab cake bao with cheddar, Hong Kong Island dressing, and coleslaw.
Meanwhile, beer and cider will spotlight both local brews and international brands with a list that regularly rotates, and cocktails are created to complement the food with drinks such as Pocari Paloma and Shiso Sour.
