Our take on the Chinese New Year classic focuses on the turnip: inspired by the Japanese method of simmering daikon with yuzu, we too, have included yuzu peel in our version, as well as umami-enhancing ingredients such as cured meat and seafood. Steam the cake to savour the wonderful, pure flavours, or slice and pan fry.
